Integrated Neural Interface Program

The integrated neural interface program centered at the University of Utah is focused on developing chronically implantable, wireless, integrated neural interface devices based on the Utah electrode array. These devices may be used in the central or pheripherial nervous system for neural signal recording and/or stimulation to help people with motor or sensory impairments. The highly interdisiplanary team consists of world renowned experts from institutes in US and Europe. Some of the collaborators in this program are the Neurosciences program at the Stanford University School of Medicine, Stanford, Calfornia, USA; Fraunhofer Institute for Reliability and Microintegration, Berlin, Germany; Fraunhofer Institute of Biomedical Engineering, St. Ingbert, Germany.
